Vision Restored

[We've been laboring under a delusion of guilt and fear that is pure illusion. We make our own "hell" or Heaven on Earth. It's in our control. Here's some insight into that area of Life in this reading.]

Truth obtained 

And Life sustained 

All within Metre 

And Verse 

Vision restored 

And falsehood deplored 

As the Source 

Of Original Curse. 

When you finally find out 

What “hell’s” all about 

And you’ve been sold 

A great “bill of goods”, 

Seen you've wasted youth's years, 

And shed wasted tears 

On the Fears of  

Some ignorant Men. 

When ”hell” is a concept 

You’ve been “sold” and “taken” 

Then Heaven’s revealed 

As the World you’ve been making, 

The shock and the pleasure 

Come in like a flood. 

They tug from two sides 

With both Anger and Love. 

But, confine all your Anger 

And reserve it for “You” 

‘Cause You are the one 

Who does what you Do. 

It's just bad information 

Passed along with “goodwill” 

Like a distorted rumor 

With a vacuum to fill. 

Generation to next 

With nary a question 

It passed on as “Truth” 

What was once just reflection. 

What once was created 

In the Mind of a Man 

Who wanted more punishment 

Than one Life could stand, 

For the Guilt that he felt 

From his low Self-Esteem 

Became rigid Scripture 

And the Crusher of Dreams. 

Don’t take what you’re given 

Without closer look 

The whispers of Parents, 

The words in the “Book” 

Can deceive if you let them 

And create greater strife 

They have no Authority 

To Limit Your Life. 

It’s all up to You 

To accept them as “True” 

Or to Know them as Lies 

And to cast them aside. 

Keep your head Pure 

From the mass of manure 

You learned as a Child 

Grow up—You’ve matured! 

Heaven’s this World 

That YOUR THOUGHTS have been making 

If it’s not to your Standards 

The Wrong Road has been taken! 

If your Thoughts directed you 

Down the Wrong Path 

Then those Thoughts can be changed 

And Your Life then re-cast. 

Yes, ALL can be New 

A “New World” of your own 

Begin with new Thoughts 

They’re the seeds that are sown. 

Your Thoughts are what make 

The World that you take 

As a plain random  

“Luck of the draw” 

Control Them and find 

That Your "Ace" is Your MIND 

And your best friend  

Is now Nature’s Law.
