TRUTH AND OPINION

 [The essence of Truth and Opinion are addressed today from the Archetypes. The Power of controlling our Thoughts and the limitations our beliefs set are themes covered as well. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did after I had the chance to contemplate it a bit.]

Distill every thought

For in them ALL are

Powers that promise

To take you afar.

Keep only what's True

And discard all the rest

The Spiritual Thoughts

Are what’s left and what’s Best.

Distilling’s a process

To clean what’s impure

Bad thoughts are the source

Of the pains we endure

Beliefs that you cling to

And learned as a child

Are like weeds in a garden

That have grown and gone wild.

They block out the Light

And stifle the growth

Of the good seeds we’ve sown

With the thoughts that we loathe.

There is Truth and Opinion

As a contrasting pair

The Truth’s unacknowledged

While opinions we share.

With each new opinion

We muddy our Powers

We lose our control

Thru these Thoughts that aren’t Ours.

Truth’s not Opinion

(Or even "belief")

So opinions a Lie

And belief is a thief!

We can’t build our Temple

When the blueprints awry

With belief’s limitations

(Though most everyone tries).

Prove what is True

Give it the Test

Your Health will improve

As your body gains rest.

All stress will dissolve

And your wishes come true

When you empty your Mind

Of the poisons you “knew”.

For it’s what is "within"

Instead of what’s “out”

That’s the Source of all

Our illness and doubt.

A glance at our Thoughts

Shows just what we "believe"

And our Thoughts act as limits

To what we achieve.
