THE LESSON

[This reading explores our process of acquiring our Wisdom through the use of the archetypal verses instead of the usual sources of worldly knowledge that constantly surround us daily.]

Lessons are learned  

Though often too slow 

But, we just cannot teach 

What we just do not KNOW.

Behold the Rhythm

And heed the Words 

Though some of them 

May seem absurd.

They weave a

Tapestry of Light, 

And introduce darkness to

A new World of Light. 

Mere conversation 

Just will not do. 

We all need to learn 

Through something that’s  New! 

We’ve all read the books 

And watched our TVs, 

But, Wisdom just wasn’t

In what we could see.

They’ve deadened our Senses 

To Nature’s Delights

Which Path is the left?

Which Path is Right? 

Through Rhyme and the gods

Taking shape thru the type, 

You stand on the edge of 

Enlightened Insight.
